Optimal Health & Wellness Coaching

Our staff of dedicated fitness professionals has expanded their expertise to the field of Wellness Coaching. Wellness Coaching is an emerging profession that began about ten years ago. Behavioral scientists have shown that one on one coaching is among the most effective approaches to helping people make and sustain improvements in their lives. The relationship between a coach and a client offers a profound level of support, guidance and encouragement to making changes without being judgmental. Through thoughtful assessment and inquiry, collaborative problem - solving and goal - setting, with a safe, open, and honest dialogue, coaches help their clients become clearer on where they are, where they want to go and how to get there. “What I learned the most from all of this was that any issue in life that I may face, will always be a work-in-progress. Whether they are physical, physiological, job-related or even personal, it is how you choose to work on them that counts. I found that the answers to everything I needed were inside of me and always were.”
~S.W.
“I found out so much about myself and why I do the things I do. You’ve got to love yourself before you can really focus on the whole diet thing. In the end, you have that lightbulb that comes on and you get it! You understand ‘why’ you ate that extra helping of potatoes and gravy ~ not because you were hungry, but because you wanted something else and didn’t know how to get there. My life seems so much clearer and focused, oh, I stumble along the way, but now I have the tools to get myself up off the sidewalk and go again.”
